1. Very Special Friends

We didn’t grow up together.
We didn’t start out as friends.
In fact, when we first got together,
We didn’t like each other then.

But times change, situations change,
Our relationship took a new turn.
After getting to know each other,
There was much we both had to learn.

Now when we talk to each other,
Lover is never too far away.
Today we’re as close as sisters,
And I wouldn’t have it any other way.

2. My Ex Sister In Law

Your nose is long and crooked, your hips are big and wide.

Your voice makes me nauseous, I want to run and hide.

Your hair is quickly graying, your skin is sickly pale.

Your body is full of problems, and your breath is awfully stale.

Yet you think your’e perfect, a rose among the thorns.

What you hide beneath your halo, is a set of horny horns.

All who meet you hate you, they dont say it to your face.

To your perfect family you are such a big disgrace.

If I had to kiss you, I think I’d surely die.

I’d wash my mouth with turpentine and bathe myself in lye.

If I’m forced to sleep with you, and hold your festered breast.

I’d drink a bowl of buzzard puke, and die a painful death.

3. Sister In Law

You got it bagging all the time,
Though time so prime,
I bless the days we spent close,
‘Cause you solace me when I’m
worse.

I pray to God to grant you happiness,
In everything you do and make you fearless,
To face boldly your dark days,
No matter what the world says.

You’re my number one person,
‘Cause you support me with passion,
Even when all seems impossible,
And because incredible.

I always gas up,
Whenever I think you’re there,
‘Cause sometimes it’s always hard to bear,
All the pain I’ve been through,
When I’m thinking of my wife, she was my only crew.

4. A Poem for A beloved Sister

I was saddened to hear the passing of our beloved sister Adele,
Now that she has gone home to the Lord.

She will be remembered by her sisters and brother,
As a loving mother and friend to her husband Dr. Norm.

Dr. Norman and her children, Kevin, Ken , Karin and Kris,
They have many good memories of their mother and grandmother.

I remember the day we came to visit their beautiful house in the summer,
Good to see everyone and visit the country.

Brian Orser is one of her husband Dr. Norm’s clients,
I thank our sister Angela for letting us know.

Angela and Johannes are coming to visit us in spring,
I am looking forward to their visit.

Adele has gone to heaven with our parents Dr. Wolf and Dr.Erika,
I hope that you will keep well and warm this winter.

God bless from aunt Gwen and your sister-in-law.
God’s blessings from us all.

5. A Friend, Who Knew?

Here this stranger stands right in front of me
Is she an imposter imposed to hurt me next
Or a friend to be
Questions pounded in my head, but I was willing to take the chance

The perception you see isn’t who she should be perceived
She felt the anger, brought out the pain
Started sealing my broken heart
That was on its way to a grave
A chance was taken and no regrets were made

Beautiful on the inside as well as the out
If she ever sought a soul, I’m here to help
Here hard times have beat her, But still she stands tall
She is understanding of life, Its like she’s been through it all
No judgments has ever been past for she’s not one to judge

We shared our stories, it seems we share something in common
Cried and laughed
I looked back upon a chance I took way back
She snuck in and stole my trust
But she’s my Great Friend who I’ve grown to love

6. What Friends Do

Friends are there when you’re feeling blue
And you’re feeling down
Their there to make you smile
And to turn your frown around

They’ll be there for your first date
And they’ll be there for you to tell
And when that boy breaks your heart
She’ll tell you its just as well

She’s there for you
Throughout the years
To share the laughs
And to share the tears

She fights with you sometimes
But you always make it through
You can’t stay mad at her
She means too much to you

So when you have a good friend
Remember to keep her nearby
Because the best thing you can have
Is a good friend by your side

7. Real Friends Care

Real friends care
That much I know
They help you through thick and thin
And when someone you love must go

I knew when I met you
That you were the one
Who would help me through everything
And make my pain done

You have showed me the way
You have showed me the light
Real friends care
That much is right

8. Forever On My Mind

I don’t know why God blessed me,
With such good friends as you

When my pain gets me down
And I just don’t know what to do

I just think of you and it helps me through
Something you said or even just a look you gave

Just gives me the hope to want to live
You share your smiles your laughter and even your heart

That is why it is so very hard to part
But even though we’re not together all the time
You’re always in my heart and forever on my mind.

by Alton L. Smith

Poems about your sister-in-law help you to bond well with her, meeting a total stranger and getting to co-exist with her or him isn’t something that’s just easy to do. It takes understanding, and real maturity to do that.

But once you establish a relationship, it becomes very easy from thereon. So these poems are to establish such relationships or build on them. You can share them.
