Poetry for Someone Special Delight for all Lovers to Read

Poetry for Someone Special Delight for all Lovers to Read.

Poetry for Someone Special – You will meet a person and know instantly that you will forever be best friends. During an extended period of time, other friendships grow.

You may feel a feeling of equality in certain friendships, whereas there may be a strong sense in others that one gives more to friendship than the other.

There are no guidelines as to how a partnership should be. If you’re ready to share your life with another human being, go right ahead, by all means. In their own way, all friendships are unique and special.

1. A Love Like Yours!

A love like yours, is hard to find,
A life with you, I wouldn’t mind.
I sometimes wonder where I’d be,
If you hadn’t came & set me free?

I’m sad at the thought of being apart,
And ecstatic to know, I’m in your heart!
There’s little to teach, and a lot to learn,
From a man like you, I’d wait my turn.

With a heart so big, to comfort all,
If help was needed, you’d be the first I call!
You’ve opened up doors, to which were dark,
Your a beautiful person, whose made your mark…

Your mark in this world, and definitely on me,
I think we compliment each other to a tee!
I know true love will set all else apart,
And you’ll be forever & the only.. one in my heart!

Love has no boundaries, love does not judge,
Love doesn’t hurt, love will not hold a grudge.
Love is special and unique to each,
Love works in mysterious ways, but life lessons it will teach.

It’s not what you think, or what you “did,”
Its the positives you made, and the negatives you rid!
– Poem by Desiree Sanders

2. Because I Do

Because I do!

Every morning that I wake, alone in bed is hard to take.
For every morning with you there, I enjoy the time I get to stare.
I love the way you make that face, which tells me “hey, give me some space”.
I love the way in peace you smile, I love to watch you for a while.
I love it when you hug me tight, and you know that you’re always right!
I love you sweetheart, all day and night; it feels so good I know its right.
I love you solid I love you hollow, I love you so much, it’s hard to swallow.
You’re the one who keeps me warm, when I’m down and feeling torn.
For all these points I’ve made above, confirm for me, you are my true love
– Poem by Theo Christo

3. Falling In Love

Falling in love is so easy to do,
I fell for you right out of the blue.

hearing your voice and seeing your smile,
you stole my heart and I just went wild.

feeling your touch and tasting your kiss,
I couldn’t help but think that you were heaven sent.

knowing your heart and seeing your soul,
the passion I felt was more richer than gold.

the love I feel for you is the truest of true,
so please hold on to it, as I hold on to you.
– Poem by Gayle Hutson

4. I Still Love You

Keeping our love growing may be tough
The road to pleasing each other may be rough
But we’ll see each other through
Such that none of us will ever rue

Yet you may find this difficult to believe
Your pains you may feel I’m hoping to relieve;
You may think I’m just trying to deceive
Alas! It is love I perceive!

Moments of affectionate love may be few
And fighting may seem due;
Coping with each other may not be in view
But our love will forever be new

True love, they say, is full of trial
Especially when it will more than fill a phial
Still the number to your heart I try to dial
And that is because I STILL LOVE YOU!
– Poem by Ayokunle Adeleye

5. Never Like This

I’ve held others before,
But it was never like this,
Where my body inhales you
And quivers with bliss,

Where my senses are reeling
From the strength of desire,
And if I can’t have you soon,
I’ll be consumed by the fire.
Poem By Karl Fuchs

6. Creatures of the Fire

We swan-dive into the volcano, burning;
We’re creatures of the fire,
Mingled male and female, yearning
For the heat, the sweet explosion of desire.

I splash into the pleasure, all consuming;
I’m joyfully insane,
My passion for you deep, and fully blooming;
Long after, sweet warm flickers still remain.

You make my body sizzle with your kisses,
And yet there’s so much more;
My heart is kindled, too; It knows what bliss is,
This closeness that I’ve never felt before.

My body and my heart belong to you;
I’m peaceful and complete.
I see more adventures coming for we two,
We creatures of the tender fire and heat.
– Poem By Joanna Fuchs

7. It’s the One Person I Love

There’s family and riches,
there’s money and fame.
but for all you horrid bitches,
this is no game.

The ones who cheat,
the ones who lie.
are the ones who will be beat
and will surely die.

Love is not as rare
as people say,
but it’s people who are madly in love
that make my day.

People claim
they adore someone,
but when they are gone
they are merely lame.

It’s the one person I love that moved away
left me here until one day,
when will I see him again? nobody knows
just keep thinking of him as I put on the shows.

Love him, hate him
it’s all the same
but it’s the one person
I’ll never forget, forgive or reclaim.
– Poem by Vanessa Burke

8. Day after day, Night after night

I leave you a written note
Something that’s easy to write
It says that I’ll hold you tight

No distance can change the fact
That our hug will turn into time to cuddle
Yet perhaps with a little tact
You and i can become compact

Remember to sleep sweet
My darling lady love
For in your dreams,
we will meet
And that will be quite the treat

So let’s close our eyes
And get some rest
For tomorrow we will rise
And maybe get a prize.
– Poem by Sidney Raflores

9. Silence Is Golden

They say silence is Golden,
I believe it is true,
Because in that Golden silence,
my thoughts occur of you.

You are the flame in my candle
that lights the darkness of my room,
You are the scented flowers
that makes my heart full bloom.

You are the butterflies
that flicker in my stomach all day long,
When I know I will be holding you
before my day is done.

You are the stars that shimmer and shine,
You light up the skies above
In this Golden silence
it’s truly you I love.

You are the thunder of the night,
your lightning strikes whenever,
Into my soul that makes me whole,
and excites my heart forever.

You are my paradise, my oceans wide,
My mountains standing tall,
So in this Golden Silence
I love you most of all.
– Poem by Shelagh Bullman

10. Baby When You Hold Me

Baby, when you hold me, my emotions makes it clear
Just how much you mean to me while we are laying here.
I listen to your heartbeat in rhythm with my own,
With every pound that warming sound keeps me safe with love you’ve shown.

Baby, when you touch me with hands so soft but strong,
You wrap me in your warm embrace, just where I belong.
You hold me close and comfort me all throughout the night
Until you open up your eyes to first signs of daylight.

Baby when you kiss me before you start your day,
The happiness you bring my heart, no words can ever say.
You make my life so beautiful, wonderful, and new.
You’re my hopes and dreams. You’re my everything; I’m so in love with you.
– Poem by Shelagh BullmanPoetry for Someone Special

11. Forever And Always

You are the sun that shines brightly throughout my day.
You are the gravity that holds me down in every way.
You are the moon that shimmers throughout my night.
You are stars that glimmer oh so bright.

You are the oxygen that keeps me alive.
You are my heart that beats inside.
You are the blood that flows through me.
You are the only guy I can see.
You have the voice of when a mockingbird sings.
You are my everything.

You are my one and only.
You stop me from being so lonely.
We plan our future as if we have a clue.
I never want to lose you.
I want you to be my husband, and I want to be your wife.
I want to be with you for the rest of my life.
– Poem by Mercedes

12. Would It Be Ok?

Would it be ok if I took some of your time?
Would it be ok if I wrote you a rhyme?

Would it be ok if I opened my heart?
Would it be ok if I took on the part

Of being your man and showed you a view,
One that only a real man could do?

Would it be ok if I could make you smile?
Would it be ok if I held you awhile?

Would it be ok if I kissed your face?
Would it be ok if I were to replace

All the men in your past that just wouldn’t do
And vow to be faithful and always be true?

Would it be alright to look in your eyes?
Would it be alright to never tell lies?

Would it be alright to find a way?
Would it be alright to long for the day

To pull you close and whisper in your ear
And tell you our feelings are nothing to fear?

Would it be ok if I took some of your time?
Would it be ok if I wrote you a rhyme?

To tell you there’s nothing I’d rather do
Than spend my whole life loving only you…
– Poem by Ryan Stiltz

13. I Love You

I love your lips when they’re wet with wine
And red with a wild desire;
I love your eyes when the lovelight lies
Lit with a passionate fire.
I love your arms when the warm white flesh
Touches mine in a fond embrace;
I love your hair when the strands enmesh
Your kisses against my face.

Not for me the cold, calm kiss
Of a virgin’s bloodless love;
Not for me the saint’s white bliss,
Nor the heart of a spotless dove.
But give me the love that so freely gives
And laughs at the whole world’s blame,
With your body so young and warm in my arms,
It sets my poor heart aflame.

So kiss me sweet with your warm wet mouth,
Still fragrant with ruby wine,
And say with a fervor born of the South
That your body and soul are mine.
Clasp me close in your warm young arms,
While the pale stars shine above,
And we’ll live our whole young lives away
In the joys of a living love.
– Poem by Ella Wheeler Wilcox

14. So Happy And So Proud

Thoughts of you surround me.
You’re the beating of my heart.
The love you give defines me.
My life is no longer dark.

You give your hand so sweetly.
I am lost if you’re away.
You have me so completely.
I cherish you night and day.

Without your breath, I cannot live.
I need your lips on mine.
Nothing at all I wouldn’t give.
I’ll take nothing and be fine.

For in your arms I’m always home,
So happy and so proud.
Never a day you’ll feel alone,
And I’ll yell it oh so loud…

– Poem by Scott Sabatini

15. Words Are Not Enough

No words could ever tell you,
No action could express
The way I feel about you.
With you, my life is blessed.

You’re the light in my tunnel.
You are my pot of gold.
You are the strength that gets me through
When despair has taken hold.

You’re my once in a lifetime.
You make my life complete.
You are my blue ribbon
In the shadow of defeat.

There’s nothing I could ever say
And nothing I could do
To let you know just how much
Love is in my heart for you.
– Poem by Denese H. BoyettPoetry for Someone Special

16. What I Love About You

The sparkle in your eye,
The warmth of your skin,
Your breath on my neck
That shakes me within.

The touch of your hand,
The smell of your hair,
The naughtiness in your smile,
That strength in your stare.

Your kiss on my lips,
Your body near mine,
The stroke of your touch,
Makes everything feel fine.

The compassion in your touch,
The power in your face,
The beating of your heart,
That we may never end our embrace.

The beauty of your kiss,
And that magic in your touch.
It is for all these reasons and more
Why I love you so much…
– Poem by Nidhi Kaul

17. My Dearest Love

I see you in my thoughts and dreams.
When I awake, how real it seems.
You aren’t here to comfort me,
But soon I hope you will be.

No one truly knows or understands;
You have my heart in your hands.
My love is what you truly own.
Come soon and make our house a home.

Inside those walls you are doing your time,
Not being here with me is your only true crime.
Others in your life will come and go,
But my love is true, and I’m sure you know.

I may not be rich or the prettiest one,
But I love you so much; you are my sun.
You light up my life every time you call.
When the time is up, I begin to fall.

You are my stars, you are my moon,
Being with you will come very soon.
So when you sleep, take this to heart,
No one or nothing will keep us apart.
– Poem by Sherri Brown

18. My Blessing In Life

Every morning I wake up and see
The most handsome man lying next to me.
He’s the one I cherish and love,
A blessing sent from Heaven above.
I will love him as a faithful wife should
And do everything for him I could.
I would let him know every day
That I love him more than words can say.
For the two children we have together
And the love for God in each other,
It will keep our love for each other strong,
And the Lord will guide us away from all wrong.
– Poem by Jessica L. NewsomePoetry for Someone Special

Poetry for Someone Special – The language of love is Romance. That’s the way you show your partner that they care for you. Each person has his or her own idea of what they would consider romantic.

It will be dressing up for some or buying flowers or jewelry for others. Without knowing the person, there is no way to know what is romantic.
